“Pompeii was amazing and wish we had a full day here to immerse in more of the history but alas we had other activities planned; like lunch and hiking the caldera of Mt. Vesuvius. Paola did. Great job coordinating and ensuring we had breaks, water, lunch, and of course limoncello! The heat was high the day of our tour but the amount of information was amazing. Lunch could have been better with fans to cool off. Our guide in Pompeii was great and knew his stuff! Would book him for a private Pompeii tour.”

“I took the option to meet the guide in Capri and pay for my own transport to Capri. I arrived early and the meeting spot is Il gabbiano bar at pier 23. I had tea and breakfast here and I highly recommend to do this if you arrive early into Capri and wait out the crowds from the ferry going up the funicular/cruise to grotto or meeting your tour. The guide was prompt and drove us up to anacapri where I had free time and the guide recommended places to see/things to do. Next was Capri centre. I didn't have lunch included but chose to head to a lovely cafe…”

“Our tour guide did not have any way to find her in the crowds(like a flag or a hat) Although very knowledgeable she rushed us thru both Pompeii and Heurculeum And we definitely missed a lot. The tour included a lunch at a winery that was clearly a way to use up valuable time instead of touring. Our bus tour guide was missing on the way to Pompeii and fell asleep on the way back to Sorrento. We had no narration at all. I personally went to the info desk at Pompeii to get the free brochure's to hand out to our bus because she did not.”

“Had been to Pompeii 20 years ago,but it rained the entire time. So, we finally made it back. The tour was very different in that there were things I wanted to see again, but the quide did not take us there, ie murals . 95% of this tour was outside. We only saw a few of he unfortunate souls who lost their lives, instead of the the many I remember. The quide was Italian & some of us felt she was hard to understand & catered more to the very few Italians that were in our group. E”

Great views and what an experience to tell friends and family about! On drive back stopped off for limoncello tasting which was very different and unique, won’t spoil the surprise though, you’ll have to go on the tour to find out..! Well worth it though.”
