Pick up a new scooter at Positano Scooter on Viale Pasitea and ride the Amalfi Coast on your own schedule. Rentals last one to seven days and include liability insurance and two helmets. Bring the correct license, expect paid parking, and skip this option if you lack scooter experience.
“Very poor experience. We were unable to use the scooters because no helmets were provided for children. Nowhere was it mentioned that children are not allowed to ride, and we only found out after trying to start our ride. When I requested a refund, it was denied despite the fact that we couldn’t use the service due to their lack of transparency and preparation. Extremely disappointing and not family-friendly.”
Pick up a 125cc scooter at Sorrento Trips in Piano di Sorrento and ride the Sorrento Peninsula or Amalfi Coast at your own pace. You get approved helmets, RCA insurance, and unlimited kilometers. Hotel delivery may be available at select hotels, but fuel, fines, and pickup costs are extra.

“Great experience. We rented 2 scooters for the day and rode to Salerno and back. We had rented 2 300 scooters through Viator and they only had one 300 and one 125 for us (charged at the same price as the 300 for some reason). Be prepared for a 700 hold on your card for 2 scooters that they said would come off within two weeks. The ride was worth it.”
